Emergency Food Shed, Meals on Wheels, San Pablo

Meals on Wheels in San Pablo, California is preparing to provide senior clients food during Public Safety Power Shutoff outages due to wildfire and/or natural disasters. A storage shed is needed to house shelf-stable food. West Contra Costa County is a high fire threat area.

A food shed would enable Meals on Wheels to have meals ready to mobilize to senior clients who are homebound, ensuring they would receive a meal during a power shutoff event. The meals do not require cooking or heating.
