Food is Love Project Fall and Winter 2020 Funding

Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit The Food is Love Project through our fiscal sponsor, FareStart, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to the whole Food is Love Team.

The Food is Love Project was launched at the start of the pandemic by Linda di Lello Morton and Chef Tamara Murphy of Terra Plata, Marina Gray of the Lowell School community, and Egan Orion of Finding Common Ground. Our goal was to do two things: get restaurants back to work and to provide food vulnerable families and individuals with healthy, nutritious, and tasty meals. We primarily serve families identified through social workers as having great need as well as people living outside.

Since we started in March 2020, we've served nearly 30,000 meals! But because of "giving fatigue" we've found out fundraising is no longer keeping up with the need of the hundreds of people we serve every week. This $30,000 challenge will help us finish out the year strong in keeping our commitments to our restaurants and the people we help to feed.
