Food is Essential!

Hello! My name is Izzy and I want to raise money to help people who can't get food during these times.  I love food and I don't want people to struggle.  Kids don't get their school foods because schools are closed. Some people are sick or lost their jobs because of Covid-19. Other people lost their houses because of fires in California. They don't have any money to buy food. That is why I want to help. I don't want to sit and watch people get hurt, I want to do, and help people with serious problems.  I'm 10 yrs. old and I'm a mini activist.

I'm trying to raise money for World Central Kitchen (WCK), a non-profit organization addressing food insecurity during and after natural disasters and humanitarian crises, while also operating long-term programs aimed at improving livelihoods by strengthening local food ecosystems. Founded in 2010 by Chef Jose Andres following the devastating earthquake in Haiti, WCK has since served more than 8 million meals to those affected by disasters. I think this is a great organization doing  meaningful stuff. Plus my dad says José Andrés is a really good chef.
