Food for the Hill Tribes of Northen Thailand
Donation protected
Want to help brighten the new year for elderly Hill Tribe individuals living in remote mountainous villages of Northern Thailand? These poor elder range in ages from 70 to over 100 years old. All subsistence farmers, many having never left their village, most have limited or no electricity and running water. Some lived through World War II as children and have fascinating tales of survival.
A $30.00 donation will help feed elders and their families for 3 weeks to a month with: fresh fruit, dry cured fish, cartons of soymilk, packages of dry noodles, cans of fish in tomato sauce, bags of cured pork, and chocolate candy bars.
Last year we distributed 12 care packages. This year we hope to provide 20. Thank you for helping us put a smile on needy senior faces.
