Food Drive Help Our Community

As you already know, the COVID-19 virus is affecting us all, but it has mainly been affecting the most vulnerable families in our community in Waukegan, including the elderly, the unemployed, and the undocumented. The United States Federal and State Government have communicated that there will be no financial support for undocumented people living in the United States, which will make the survival of entire families even more difficult during this Pandemic Quarantine.
During these unfortunate and difficult times, several Latino business owners and community volunteers have joined forces to run a food drive to support Latino families in greatest need. For this reason, I would like to request your help and donation of basic non-perishable canned and packaged foods.
We will be hosting the Food Drive at 1492 Lewis Ave North Chicago, IL 60064.
Como usted ya sabe, el virus COVID-19 nos está afectando a todos, pero principalmente ha estado afectando a las familias más vulnerables de nuestra comunidad en Waukegan, incluyendo a los ancianos, los desempleados y los indocumentados. El Gobierno Federal y Estatal de Estados Unidos han comunicado que no habrá apoyo económico para las personas indocumentadas viviendo en Estados Unidos, lo cual hará aún más difícil la sobrevivencia de familias enteras durante está Cuarentena de Pandemia.

El centro de recaudación y distribución de alimentos se llevará a cabo en Paris Banque Hall, localizado en 1492 Lewis Ave. North Chicago, IL.
