Food Basket and Scholarship Fund

2020 has been a difficult year for everyone due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  However, this year has proven to be particularly challenging for the Kennett Jaycee's fundraising efforts.  As you are aware, we were unable to have our annual Kennett Jaycee BBQ Cook Off, the Jaycee Fish Stand at the Delta Fair and many more of our major fundraising events. As a result, it has been very difficult to fund our major charitable community projects, including, but not limited to, our Good Neighbor's Project, when we deliver 150-200 food baskets each Christmas to local families in need, as well as the $2,500 in total scholarships that we award annually to local students.

While the Jaycees are continuing to attempt to raise funds through BBQ fundraisers and other means, we will not be able to fully fund our charitable projects through those efforts alone.  Therefore, we are asking for the community to please help us fund these projects to make the holidays brighter for those less fortunate, to help our youth attain higher education/training and much, much more.

Please consider contributing to our Go Fund Me so that we may continue to fulfill our annual community commitments.  Donations in any amount are, and will be, greatly appreciated.

If you should have any questions, please contact any Kennett Jaycee member or you may email us at [email redacted].

Thank you for your community support!
