Fabiano Montanaro era un ragazzo di Napoli, aveva 24 anni e viveva a Londra con il fratello Vincenzo per guadagnarsi da vivere. A fine giugno gli fu diagnosticato un melanoma in un ospedale a Londra, dove decise di restare per curarsi dato che disponevano di alcune terapie sperimentali che in Italia purtroppo non sarebbero state possibili. Nel giro di due mesi dopo cure dolorose e sperimentali, Fabiano si è dovuto arrendere a questo brutto male. Abbiamo deciso di organizzare questa raccolta fondi per aiutare la famiglia a riportare il corpo in Italia e aiutarla per le spese del funerale, anche perché bisogna tenere presente che i genitori, residenti a Napoli, hanno temporanemente lasciato i loro lavori e sono da svariate settimane a Londra per stare vicino al figlio fin quando nella prima mattina del 18 settembre il ragazzo ha esalato l'ultimo respiro. Ringrazio tutti in anticipo anche da parte della famiglia per la partecipazione, spero vivamente nella vostra umanità e nel vostro aiuto, queste persone hanno bisogno di tanto sostegno in questo momento, facciamoci sentire vicini. Fabiano Montanaro was a guy from Naples, he had 24 years old and used to live in London with his brother Vincenzo to work. Fabiano was diagnosed of Skin Melanoma at the end of June, so he decided to stay in England to do the medications and to progress his healing, because the hospital had some sperimental treatments that in Italy was impossible to find.
In two months time, after painful treatments and sperimentals, Fabiano lost his battle against the sickness.
We decided to organize this fundraising to help the family to bring back the body to Italy and help them with the expenses of the funeral, considered that his parents, were living in Naples and they had to stop temporarily their jobs to come in London to stay with their son until the early morning of the 18th of September, when Fabiano had his last breath.
Me and the family would like to thank everybody in advance, for helping us in this. I really believe in your humanity and in your help as this people needs our help in this awful moment.
