Mr. Ed Folsom was a loving husband, father, friend, and teacher at Buchanan High School. On Monday, October 1st at the age of 48, Ed unexpectedly passed away. He leaves behind his wife, Shannon, and their two sons, Spencer and Knox. This tragedy is felt also by the greater Bear Nation community as Ed was a beloved man who touched the lives and hearts of hundreds. There has never been anyone quite like Ed Folsom, and there is no one who will ever replace him.
With Ed's passing, Shannon and the boys are also losing his income, and helping them to replace or supplement this lost income is the reason for this GoFundMe effort. At this point, Shannon works as a librarian at Cole Elementary. With two growing boys to raise and feed, and a new reality to adjust to without Ed, their lives can be made just a bit easier with all of our support.
