Zeke is our beloved second born child who has been diagnosed with a medical and educational diagnosis of Autism. After much research and interaction with other Parents of autistic children we have decided to start a Son-Rise program for Zeke. The program is very intensive and relies completely on volunteers, however the results are often unbelievable. We need lots of help, initially with funds to receive the training and after that, with volunteer hours to work with Zeke...
The first step in this journey is our training to learn how to help Zeke. The Son-Rise Start-Up Program, based in Massachusetts at the Autism Center of America, is the beginning 5-day group training program for parents, relatives and professionals to become trained in the Son-Rise therapy. We will learn how to build our child's communication and social interaction and increase his motivation and cooperation. We will also learn how to utilize specific teaching techniques that will enable Zeke to reach certain goals.
We need funds for travel, the Start-Up Program fee, food and lodging. The bulk of these funds is due by March 30th. These costs are outside of our insurance coverage and we are reling on your generosity and love for Zeke. Please consider making a donation to support Zeke\'s Son-Rise program!
