Hope for the Homeless
Donation protected
Each year my family vacations to New York City, and with every trip I see hundreds of homeless men, women, and children flooding the streets. As of April 2017 there were 61,277 homeless people sleeping in the New York City municipal shelter system each night.
Instead of passing the homeless with a heavy heart like I usually do, this trip I want to make a difference. I plan to put together bags with everyday hygiene products that we take for granted.
The products that I intend to give in the bags are: toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, deodorant, chapstick, feminine products for females, etc.
I leave for the trip on Saturday, July 01, 2017. I'm reaching out because as badly as I want to, I cannot afford to give as much as I would like to by myself.
No amount is too small when you're helping others.
Thank you so much!
