In Loving Memory of Cindy Hayes
Donation protected
My name is Karin LaVallee and I am a friend of Cindy Hayes and her family. I am also the God Mother of their youngest two children. Cindy and her husband Jay have been married for 13 years and have 5 children.
Cindy has been in the ICU at Mary Washington Hospital for the last 2 months. What started as a possible lung infection, turned into something much worse. Cindy learned she had lung cancer at the age of 34. There was a mass on her lung. By the time they learned of this, she was too weak for surgery to remove it. Cindys husband, Jay, made the decision to remove her respirator last night and let her go peacefully. She was surrounded by her husband, children and friends. She died after 10 pm at the age of 35.
Jay now faces an overwhelming amount of bills for this hospital stay, on top of funeral expenses. I know that $5,000 won't make much of a dent in the bills, but I hope we can help at least a little. I plead with you to please spare anything you can for this family. Even $1 if that is all you can do. They will appreciate it more than you will ever know.
