It started 5 weeks ago for this family.  Jamie was hospitalized June 28th  for unknown causes.   He had trouble with his joints. He soon developed breathing problems. Within a week he was intubated. At this time they had to comatize him for fear that he would try to remove the tubes.  One morning Micheline, his beloved, showed up at the hospital and was told that the doctors needed to meet with the family.  At this point they told the family that Jamie`s lungs were no longer functioning.  Imagine the shock this family had to endure.  The next week Toronto General Hospital agreed with the Ottawa General Hospital that he would be a good candidate for lung transplant.  The very next day,Toronto General Hospital backed out, leaving the family at a loss.  Jamie was too sick to travel.

What were they to do?  Jamie is getting sicker by the minute.  They would soon find out there was nothing that could be done.  The family watched him slowly deteriorate till he was no longer the Jamie they knew.
Decisions had to be made, hard decision, by his loving wife Micheline.  All this time, Micheline was trying to stay strong for his 4 beautiful princesses and their 3 grandchildren,

Because it was closer for Micheline to stay at her daughter's in Orleans or at the hospital, the worse thing happened. She got home to find out that the pipes in her basement had burst. Destroying a lot of family memories that were stored in boxes downstairs.

On the 5th of August, Jamie finally lost his battle.  The cause or the reason is still unknown to the family. They are waiting for an autopsy that was requested by the hospital because the doctors still don't understand how this happened to a young man so quickly.  Jamie was only  46 years old.

Little Isabelle who is still just 9 years old will be growing up without her beloved daddy. Jamie's dream was to see his daughter succeed in school because he knew she had the potentiel to be something special .

Because it was closer for Micheline to stay at her daughter's in Orleans or at the hospital, the worse thing happened. She got home to find out that the pipes in her basement had burst. Destroying a lot of family memories that were stored in boxes downstairs.

Right now  the family is in dire straits. Jamie was self employed without any insurance. This is a plea to help this family in their time of need.

                         PLEASE, BE GENEROUS !!!
The family must now deal with funeral and other unexpected expenses.  The funds raised will help Micheline get by until she is ready to get back to work.
