Hello friends,
I am looking to put together funding for my next album, “Isn’t it Romantic.” The concept of the album is a set of songs from the American Songbook telling stories of love and loss in an intimate late night, lights down low, kind of a mood. My inspiration for this record comes from a series of recodings that Tony Bennett made in the 1970’s with a small jazz combo consisting of guitar, bass, and muted trumpet/flugelhorn. Ever since first hearing these recordings I have wanted to record a set of songs paying homage to the artistry of Tony Bennett and the atmosphere he created with those recordings. For a contribution of $25 you will receive a copy of the album once completed. For $50 you will receive a pre-release copy of the album.
For $100 donation you will be invited to a recording session and see how the album is put together. For $500 donation you will receive VIP seating at the album release concert as well as a copy of the cd and an invite to a recording session.
In an era where art seems to be disappearing on a daily basis, please help make this recording a reality.
