Expenses for Talons medical

Donation protected
Talon is my son.  He was born with a benign tumor behind his right eye. Our first visits to the doctor were  because we noticed one of his eyes did not move as freely as the other. The first diagnosis was cancer.  He was nine months old at the time.
After seven biopsies and two reconstructive surgeries ( not to mention a hernia discovered this year in his lower pelvic area, doctors already corrected that), Talon' s issues still exist. The surgeries proved that he does not have a malignant tumor, but they ,however, left him with scar tissue and stretched eyelids, thus creating other issues.  Cosmetic issues are relevant, but dry eye being more of our concern, as it can be irratating and eventually cause the eye to scar over its entirety.

The tumor in question, behind his right eye, has never been completely diagnosed, as it was , according to his doctor at the time, a never before seen type of growth in the orbital area it is located in. This case would be documented as a new discovery. One of the problems being that no one is certain of how this particular tumor will effect Talon throughout his life. Although it is benign, it is still growing.  More opinions are being sought, and further reconstruction will be needed.
Talon is a very happy child, and we hope to provide whatever it takes to continue as parents to give him as much he needs to lead a normal life.
