Study Abroad In Italy For a Year

Hello I am Jade Laber, I and 16 years old and am constantly swooped off me feet by the thought of all that is offered to learn when venturing to other countries. The art of traveling is something that can only be experienced, not read or talked about. One can only truly learn for themselves, what other cultures are like if they, themselves grasp their dreams and follow their passions. My dream is to study abroad in Italy next year for my senior year. I am beyond grateful to have already been exposed to some places around the world through my dad’s work. The more I get out in the world the more I want to know everything about it. “AFS is a leading study abroad program for secondary school students, supported and facilitated by trained staff and volunteers. I will not let money hold be back from my dreams. I know if I put my mind to it, with a little help for some generous people, I can make it happen. I am a very dedicated and enthusiastic person that is always ready to learn. I am very involved in my church and Young life, a program for Christian high school student and and a Wild life leader for Christian middle school students. Everything happens for a reason and I have faith in God to help me through this journey and I now that good things happen to good people. My love for travel, learning and socializing is strong and a close second to this is, my love for helping service the people that surround me. I am currently the secretary for the Key club at my high school, La Costa Canyon. Key club is a global community service association. I love to help out my community and help spread happiness all over. I am very hard on myself and always strive to do my best. Please help a young person trying to extend their learning experience.
