A cause I care about needs help

I need your help to keep this charity going in these tough times as we emerge from Covid-19 and treat more of the many children that need help because of their physical problems. I am the treasurer (an unpaid trustee) and so acutely aware of the need for funds.

The Movement Centre provides a unique, research-based, and effective therapy in the UK for children with movement problems due to severe cerebral palsy and similar maladies.  97% of children treated benefit significantly, and many benefit in profoundly life-enhancing ways. The NHS cannot provide sufficient physiotherapy for such children, but the TMC approach is very efficient in its use of physios as much of the work is done at home, every day, by parents and the child.  We are based at the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital near Oswestry, though we are not part of the NHS (we rent rooms and some services).

The current priority is to ensure that the trained staff can remain employed as TMC continues to restart treatment after the earlier lockdowns.

Your help will enable TMC to continue its valuable work despite the tough situation we are all in, and enable TMC to support more of the 1800 children born every year in the UK who can benefit.

These children have had the toughest break in life. Let's help them to make full use of their ability so they can sit, feed themselves, and do the basic things that you and we all take for granted.

Thank you
