This fundraiser is started for my mother Donna Hansen. She is a wonderful, beautiful, hard working, strong individual who has made me the woman I am today. My sister and I had the perfect childhood because of her and my father, who did everything they could for us. Always providing and making sure our needs were met.
We recently found out that she is extremely sick. We found out on Thursday, December 3rd, 2015 after an emergency room visit that something wasn't right. There were masses on her lungs. They pre-diagnosed her with cancer,but suggested she immediately go to a specialist to get a final diagnosis. She decided it was best for her to move to Oregon with her sister Kathy, to start a natural way of healing, and to make some lifestyle changes. On Saturday December 5th, she flew to Oregon. She immediately changed her diet, picked up some healthy habits and prayer sessions started immediately! She found a naturopathic doctor (Dr.Black) who started her on compounds and high vitamin doses. He gave her a referral to an oncologist and she had 2 biopsies done. After a month of appointments, she was diagnosed with stage 4 non small cell lung cancer on January 18th, 2016. Another CT scan is set up for Monday, January 25th, 2016, to see how prayers and natural remedies are working. After the new scan, her team of doctors and her will decide what treatment is best, and how to approach this disease.
Any donation is DEEPLY appreciated and will go towards bills, (she is not able to work currently) transportation, HEALTHY food, natural ways of healing, costs of doctors visits and any other finances that need to be met.
