Trent Slater

In the small hours of March 29th, we tragically lost our great, lovely, cheeky mate Trent Christopher Slater in Bali, aged 49 years.

Slatsy, as he was known to many, was a dearly loved Son, Father, Brother, Cousin and beyond valued mate to many people, wide and far. We all loved him for multiple reasons, whether it was his:

• cheeky smile,

• stylish dance moves,

• committed opinions & beliefs,

• love of music, and/or

• love of having a great time

Slats was a much-loved teammate to his fellow Teachers and was greatly loved & respected by his students, which as many can attest is a rare thing.

Having lost our dear mate Trent in Bali, as you can imagine, brings with it a lot of complications and expense. Humbly, we request to those whose life was touched by Trent, that you contribute whatever you can afford to help us with the repatriation and funeral costs, so that we can bring our mate home and give him the send off he deserves.

Slats would be embarrassed to have all this attention (and any money that is forthcoming), directed towards him, but for the many of us who loved him we know that he is worth it.
