The Flying of the Bulls Tour

Donation protected
For the past eight years, we have dedicated our lives to poetry and the art of spoken word. Whether it's writing, editing, and memorizing new pieces at 3:00 am, organizing youth events, working on grants, traveling to perform, or teaching poetry in middle, high school, and college classrooms, we have found and solidified our passion for words and the sharing of stories. Coming from the small city of Durham, NC we've always had to work twice as hard to create community and a name for ourselves nationally. After years of tireless work, the organization we helped found, Sacrificial Poets, has become an official 501(c)3 non-profit, we have featured at venues all across the country, won and placed in regional, national, and international slam competitions as teammates and individually, and have helped lead youth programs all over the state and beyond. It has been our greatest fortune to become a part of this amazing poetry community both nationally and locally, and we are so grateful for every person we have met along the way.

This summer, we are pushing our boundaries and challenging ourselves to do something we've never done before. For two months, we will to travel across the Atlantic ocean and complete a two month tour throughout Europe. We have shows booked in England, Scotland, Holland, Belgium, Germany, and Sweden, and are still filling up the rest of our dates. This will be a dream come true for both of us--two Durham kids travelling overseas to perform our poetry on another continent. Although we are so close to turning this dream into a reality, we still need your help in order to make it happen.

We are asking for donations in order to fund our tour. Our goal is $3000, which will cover all of our travel fare, lodging, food, and booking fees. If you're not able to support financially, you can help by spreading the word through your networks and asking loved ones to donate. Please know that no gift is too small, and we truly appreciate whatever you can contribute. Thank you so much in advance for supporting and believing in our potential. We promise not to let y'all down. SOUTHERN FRIED!

with sincerity, respect, and love,
