Peters fund

Peter flew over to Rhodes Greece with his family to attend his sisters wedding.Unfortunately only two days after the wedding  peter became ill and he was admitted to the Surgical ward at Rhodes General Hospital.Peter deteriorated overnight and was then moved to the Intensive Care Unit, where he was then placed into a medically induced coma. Originally the go fund me account was to raise money to fly peter back to the UK for specialised care, however the insurance did pay to fly him back eventually. Since Peter has returned home the amazing doctors and nurses in the NHS have managed to wake Peter up, although he is still ventilated and remains on icu. The doctors say peter will be on intensive care for weeks and he has a long road to recovery, he will be staying in the hospital for months. Since coming home we have had many messages from donors saying to keep their donations to pay towards costs accumulated for the family getting Peter back home and for any adaptations/input Peter may need for his home. We appreciate that people donated to pay to get peter home which was done by insurance so if anyone would like to be refunded that is more than understandable and we will gladly do so.
