Hi, I'm Lama Chimey, I'm one of the very few Swedish-American female Buddhist Ministers, Dharma & Meditation teachers from the Tibetan Vajrayana tradition.
I'm the founder of the Triyana Meditation system and a published poet, writer and sacred ceremony officiate. Hundreds of people have been supported on their path through my many years of dharmic activities. My work continues to make a difference in people's lives and answer the calls of their spiritual path. I love my work and the opportunity to incorporate ancient wisdom into a modern lifestyle as a "digitalized" Lama.
As such I have now been selected by an international committee of Buddhist monastics and scholars as an Outstanding Woman in Buddhism 2023.
The justification reads:
We are grateful to you for your wisdom and empathy and your modern application of Buddhism. You will be honored on International Women’s Day, March 8, 2023, in Thailand.
International Women’s Day is recognized as the day to honor and celebrate women’s accomplishments the world over.
The funds raised here will be used to cover travel expenses for me to be able to attend the ceremony and pick up my reward as an Outstanding Woman in Buddhism 2023.
Being able to attend this honorable award ceremony in person, and stand alongside other women of magnificent who have been recipients of this award is, therefore, not only a great honor for me but an important acknowledgment of women's wisdom and power in general.
Please fly me there!
