Fly High #21-Fallen High School Football Player

Hello! My name is Asha (Mikell’s mom). On 11/26/2020 (Thanksgiving morning) 6 days before his 16th birthday I was advised by a family member my son was not in our home. I went looking for him and discovered his body in the parking lot of our apartment complex. Mikell had been shot and to this day no arrests have been made. I have been in touch with the detective working on my son’s case frequently, as well as Charleston Crime Stoppers. This is a mother’s plea and desperation for help. This is being established to supplement reward money for anyone who may come forward with information leading to the arrest of the individual responsible for the death of Mikell Mckelvey. Funds may be used towards a reward, the investigation, and awareness communications. Any remaining proceeds will be donated to The Salvation Army and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
