Flossie's eye removal surgery fund :(

Hello!

 

My beloved blind bff Flossie has reached the point where her ophthalmologist is recommending we remove her eyes ASAP.

 

Flossie went blind a few years ago from a retinal degeneration. But she also has glaucoma. The pressure is her eyes from the glaucoma is building to a point where the medication is no longer helping and she is increasingly in more and more pain.

 

We love Flossie to pieces so since her eyes no longer work and we don't want her to be in pain, we will be removing them. But the surgery cost close to $5000.

 

For a long time Flossie went with me everywhere. To work, to Derby, to all social events. She's brought a lot of people happiness with her goofy pictures and terrible job at fetching.

 

If Flossie has made you smile in the past and you'd like to donate to her surgery fund, we would be very grateful. We were aware this was a possibility in the future but we're not expecting it to be a very sudden decision. So we are a little bit unprepared!
