Lei of Aloha for Florida

Under the guidance of Ron Panzo from Maui, we'll be making another Lei of Aloha for the people affected by the Florida school shooting. We are looking to have 17 1/8th-mile sections made, one for each person who was killed.
Our hope was that these 17 sections could be made by 17 different groups of students in Hawaii. 16 school groups on Oahu, Hawaii Island and Maui are already stepping up.
Once the lei is complete we are aiming to have students and teachers from each school fly out to Florida to help deliver and present the Lei.
We need all the help we can get! Not everyone will be able to present the lei, and not all will be able to help weave the lei, but one way you can help is by donating. Any donations are greatly appreciated and will carry the lei and its custodians to Florida. Please help us share our dream of unity and love!
