Florida Keys Hurricane Irma Relief

Donation protected
The Florida Keys are a rare and special place and they will need our help to rebuild.  This fund is meant to target those who have lost everything and either do not have insurance or can not afford their hurricane and/or flood deductibles.  This fund is not directly linked to any charity and plans to relieve those who can prove permanent residence in the lower keys.

Mark and Karen Butler have lived in Islamorada, FL for more than thirty years and lost all of their posessions during Hurricane Irma.  They are currently trying to restart their lives while paying for their daughter's tuition at the University of Florida.  We found them through Pastor Jonathan Elwing of First Baptist Church of Islamorada.  Based upon their story, we believe they are the correct beneficiciaries for the funds we have received.  Our plan is to meet Pastor Jonathan at his Church and suprise her with a check at the elementary school where she has worked as a teacher for many years.

I plan to personally withdraw the money next week and all received funds will be converted into a cashier's check made in their name.  There is still time to donate before the funds are withdrawn.
