Study Abroad in Italy

The moment I decided I was going to college I knew that I would not have fully experienced my time at a university if I did not study abroad. Taking Italian was one of the best choices I made coming in last semester for my freshman year, I have learned so much and am so grateful to be surrounded by such a fun and supportive environment where I even got the opportunity to become the Vice President of the Italian Club at UCF and am excited to spread my love for Italian to other students both taking Italian courses or just interested in learning more. Going to Italy would mean being totally immersed in the beautiful language and rich culture it has to offer, there is no better way to learn than to make it a part of a daily routine and be surrounded by people who you are able to learn from simply by observing them and being a part of their day to day lives. To be able to actually go to Italy and live there for 6 weeks would be an experience like no other, one I would be proud and excited to share in hopes to encourage others to do the same; having the ability to get out there and be a part of a community and culture different from your own is in my opinion one of the greatest ways to live life and it is exactly the reason why I would very much appreciate any help I can get to be on my way to this amazing journey.
