Flooding the Goodwins with Love

As many of you know, Maureen & Dan Goodwin recently sustained major damage to their home in Wallace, North Carolina as a result of flooding from Hurricane Florence. Their house had 4-6 feet of water and few things were able to be saved. Since people have been asking how they can help, Team Goodwin -- comprised of friends and family  -- decided a GoFundMe page might be the best way. Thanking you in advance for your support. GoFundMe has asked me to identify myself to those people who may receive this link. I am Judy Adler Reiff, a former colleague of Maureen's at Sherwood HS, a fellow NYer until I moved to MD to teach, and someone who counts Maureen and Dan as close friends who have been at our sides during good times and the not-so-good times. Now that they are in NC, we treasure the times we do get to spend with them. Many people contacted me to find a way to help the Goodwins and I asked their permission to set up this GoFundMe page. Please share it with others. Even with the support of family and friends they have a long road ahead of them. We know it will all work out, but your help may make the biggest difference. Thank you.
