Flooding left my dad with nothing

My Dad officially bought and moved into his first home February 2nd, 2019 with a glimpse of hope for the great life ahead of him. Unfortunately this Friday, April 26th everything he had worked so hard for and hoped for was taken from under his feet, literally. St Marthe Sur Le Lac experienced servere flooding that took over my dad's house in a matter of minutes, reaching the windows in no time. Him and his girlfriend were able to safely get out fortunately enough, however all they were able to take with them was the clothing on their back, as with natural disaster there is rarely ever any notice. Everything in this house was brand new and he saved many years for, but all of it is gone. They didn't have flood insurance as the area was never previously deemed as a danger for flooding. If you are able to aid in anyway at all to help get them back on their feet it would be more than appreciated from the bottom of my heart, his heart (Micheal O'Connor) and Ingrid's (Ingrid Rodriguez).
