Flood Relief for those affected in Sylhet, Bangladesh
Donation protected
Hello my name is Abdul Alim and I’m raising money for my hometown in Sylhet, Bangladesh where devastating floods have destroyed the homes of many. Nearly 2 million people are stranded.
“About 964,000 people in Sylhet and 792,000 in Sunamganj had been affected by the flooding and authorities said they had set up more than 6,000 shelters to help the displaced, BSS reported.
Among them are 772,000 children who were in urgent need of assistance, the United Nations’ Children’s Fund (UNICEF) said Friday. More than 800 schools had been flooded with 500 more used as flood shelters, the agency said.” -CNN News
Please help the people of my hometown get access to water, food and shelter. The money donated will directly be sent to my relatives who will buy and distribute food and water to those affected.
