Flood Relief for The Johnson Family

The Johnson Family (David, Casee, Chase and Kayla) expereiced devastating flood damage as a result of Hurricane Harvey last week.
They were under a mandatory evacuation due to increased flooding in the area. The evacuated to her mom's house and slowly watched the flood waters rise until they lost power. After the rain subsided, and the flood waters receded, they went to look at the damage. Casee has posted pictures on facebook, but the water outside of her house was at her calf. The water inside the house was about 6 inches above the carpet. The entire down stairs was under water. Their back yard looks like a lake.
They are currently working around the clock to clean out the damage left behind. They have thrown out all the carpet in the house, cut 4 feet of dry wall from all of the walls in the house and have mold growing up the walls. Their furniture was severely damaged and needs to be replaced. Their home, like so many others in the area, does not have flood insurance.
The intent of this GoFundMe effort is to aid them in restoring and repairing their home. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to assist them with restoring their home to livable conditions. This money will allow them to replace damaged furniture, help with buying cabinets for their kitchen, replace the carpet, and other costs that are unforseeable in the future.
David and Casee are very hard workers. They will give you the shirt off your back. Even though they have such devastating damage they are still helping their neighbors who also sustained damage clean up.
