Flood Relief for TCPD Officers

Donation protected
Hurricane Harvey wreaked havoc on the Texas Gulf Coast. Texas City received over 50 inches of rainfall in a 3-day period. Many homes were flooded, including several of Texas City Police Department's officers and civilian employees. Our police family had 10 police officers whose houses flooded. While their own homes were being flooded, these same police officers went to work to protect others in their time of need. Now, you can help them in their time of need! These officers are all humble people and would not ask for help on their own.

I am a co-worker who was not affected by the storm directly so I set this up to help those in TCPD who need it most. To respect their privacy, their names will be kept confidential. However, the proceeds from this fund will be divided among those 10 employees and hand-delivered to them personally. These officers are still going to work every day to keep you safe even when they have no home of their own to return to after their shift. The officers who receive these funds will be using this money to buy new clothes, school supplies, and make repairs to their homes so that they can bet their lives back to normal.
