On August 20th, 2018 Dane County experienced a record-breaking rainfall, estimating as much as 13 inches, causing major flash flooding on the west side of Madison and surrounding cities.
During this flash flood Kim's home sustained major flood damage. She has lost lots of furniture and personal items, and possibly her furnace, washer/ dryer, and other appliances. The flood damage has made her home unlivable, but insurance is unable to cover any of the damages.
