<div>I’m reaching out on behalf of my amazing mom, who has made it her personal mission to give back to the communities and families in need across Vietnam.

<div>For the last 15+ years, she’s poured her heart into traveling across different provinces to deliver essentials to families, senior homes, and children’s orphanages. She puts together care packages with Vietnamese staples like rice, soy sauce, and cooking oil, (among other items) for families. She also distributes school supplies + backpacks for kids who often go without the basics they need for school.

<div>Up until now, she’s funded almost everything on her own, along with donations from relatives and close friends. Recently, people in her community have asked how they can help, so we decided to open this up and begin crowdfunding to support her efforts and allow her to reach even more communities.

<div>Recently, Vietnam was hit with severe flash floods that devastated entire communities. As she prepares for her next trip in the coming year, her goal is to bring financial relief and essential supplies to the areas hit the hardest, including Ma Lâm, Tam Hưng, Bắc Bình in Bình Thuận, and Xóm Chợ in Sông Cầu.

<div>Hơn 15 năm qua, bà đã dành hết tâm huyết của mình để đi khắp các tỉnh thành, trao tặng nhu yếu phẩm cho các gia đình, viện dưỡng lão và trại trẻ mồ côi. Bà đã chuẩn bị các gói quà từ thiện với những nhu yếu phẩm thiết yếu của Việt Nam như gạo, nước tương, dầu ăn (cùng nhiều mặt hàng khác) cho các gia đình. Bà cũng phân phát đồ dùng học tập và ba lô cho những em nhỏ thường thiếu thốn những vật dụng thiết yếu cho việc đến trường.

<div>Cho đến nay, bà đã tự trang trải hầu hết mọi chi phí, cùng với sự đóng góp của người thân và bạn bè thân thiết. Gần đây, mọi người trong cộng đồng của bà đã hỏi xem họ có thể giúp đỡ như thế nào, vì vậy chúng tôi quyết định mở rộng hoạt động này và bắt đầu gây quỹ cộng đồng để hỗ trợ những nỗ lực của bà và giúp bà tiếp cận được nhiều cộng đồng hơn nữa.
