Together for Diane - Flipped Kitty in the City

Diane Moser, an extraordinarily talented and brilliant musician and composer, teacher, dear friend, loving mother, and committed community member, has been having serious health issues related to cancer treatment and accompanying complications.  Tomorrow she is scheduled for spinal surgery  to repair 3 compression fractures to her vertebrae. She has been receiving weekly blood transfusions and is now also diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia.

During these difficult times, Diane’s dedication to her son and family, her music, her colleagues and her students has remained powerfully strong. She is a force majeure among us.  Now, unable to work,  Diane needs to focus on her health so that her body can heal and she can continue to create and share her prodigious talents.  

Diane teaches and mentors upcoming young jazz composers and musicians at the New School and VCFA.  She has won numerous awards and fellowships and is an acclaimed composer and musician. Founder of a composers Big Band, quintet and trios, Diane maintains a private studio and is a church organist.

I have started this Go Fund Me on Diane's behalf. We have been friends, colleagues, and teaching partners for  30 years.   All funds will go toward her care and living expenses as she heals.  I know that  these are very difficult times for all.
