Flights for Adam & Marion Pack

As many of you may have heard by now, last week on the way home from a church activity in Wyoming, Erin Pack and some of her family and a friend, were involved in an auto accident, a single car rollover. Erin passed away in that accident.  All other passengers in the car were fine with no life threatening injuries, and all have already been released from local hospitals. 

The Packs and Erin in particularly, touched us in our neighborhoods, our schools and our daily interactions.  Her presence and joyful smile and countenance will be dearly missed.     

Our loving community has already been reaching out to see what can be done to help.  As many of you also know, Adam Pack and Marion Pack are both serving missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Adam is serving in Taiwan and Marion is in Finland.   It is costly to get them back and forth this week from their missions.  The church missionary fund has offset a healthy part of the travel, but there is still a need of support to cover the remaining bit.  

If you feel prompted, please consider donating.  The funds are strictly for the travel and if we should raise more, we will donate it to the family for other expenses.  I know that the Packs will be deeply grateful for any support we offer.  Please know that they have asked for nothing.  But we know what burdens there are to bear in situations like this .  I personally am grateful for the generosity of love and support in this community that we call home.
