New space for Fleur De Lis Gallery

When I first decided to open Fleur De Lis Gallery, I intended to only be open over the holiday season. I wasnt sure if my gallery idea was something this area needed, so a Pop Up Shop felt like a safe way to check out the town. We have been open now through two holiday seasons and People have repeatedly asked if we would consider staying open year round. I was thanked for opening such a fun store/place to buy Local art over and over again. I started thinking I should probably consider sticking around. People clearly want us to be a permanent presence in town and I am super excited to be here!
This Gofundme is to raise money so that we can really do a good job creating a place people can come to buy/enjoy minnesota handmade gifts and art. I opened the shop on a almost non existant budget. I pulled together all the artists I knew and we threw together the gallery. We were offered the space we currently reside in as a temporary location for the gallery. Our Landlord was very generous with his rental agreement and extended that agreement to keep us in town. He needs to renovate this building we are currently in so he has offered us another one of his spaces up the street. It is beautiful!!!
I will be using the money raised in this campaign to do the build out required to get that space ready for us to reside in. John (our landlord) has offered to donate his time to help us do this buildout but we need to purchase the supplies. I also need to have signage made for the outside and I would like to have a website created.
We would like to be relocated by June. Only with your support will I be able to bring this gallery to the new location. I have created incentives and thank you gifts for those of you who can give to us financially. To those of you who cant donate money, you can still be an important part of our success by taking the time to share this with your friends and family to help us spread the word.
