Exciting News from Revolution Martial Arts Academy!
FLANDERS – JANUARY 2026
We are proud to announce that 6 members of Revolution Martial Arts Academy have been officially selected by Great Britain Ju-Jitsu to represent our country on the international stage!
This is under JJIF Fighting Ju-Jitsu rules (Ju-Jitsu International Federation)—soon to be recognised as the official Olympic Jiu-Jitsu format.
For those new to the style, Fighting Ju-Jitsu is a dynamic and challenging competition divided into three phases:
• Stage 1: Controlled strikes
• Stage 2: Throws and takedown techniques
• Stage 3: Immobilisation for 15 seconds or submission through body control
To reach this level is no easy task—it requires relentless training, commitment, and mental resilience. These young athletes are not only outstanding competitors but also incredible individuals, each following their own path while standing as the teammates their squad can rely on. They show up for themselves, support each other, and embody everything that makes a true champion.
✨ As Fighting Ju-Jitsu moves closer to Olympic recognition, these young stars could one day become our future Olympians, bringing home gold medals for Great Britain. The journey is only beginning—the best is yet to come.
However, unlike many funded sports, Fighting Ju-Jitsu does not yet receive Sport England recognition. This means all costs—including travel, food, and accommodation—must be self-funded, placing a heavy financial strain on families.
That’s why we’ve launched a GoFundMe campaign. With your support, we can ensure these talented athletes proudly represent Revolution Martial Arts Academy, our community, and Great Britain at the European and World Championships—fighting for gold on the biggest stages.
Every single donation makes a difference.
Thank you so much for standing behind our young champions and helping turn their dreams into reality
