Help Ceci fight cancer & chubby up!

OUR STORY:

We just found out that someone we love has cancer...

She is Ceci, Mami, Chela or Tita: a daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.  To us, she is the nucleus at the center of our big family, our rock, and our glue!  A selfless caretaker, she is reluctant to put herself first even as she faces stage 3 lung cancer (Update: stage 4) (AKA "the gremlin") So we need your help….

It’s her turn to get some love.  And as it turns out, cancer is expensive!  There are the obvious medical bills but also the less obvious costs such as eating super healthy and going to a cancer center far from home.  And it’s time for this should-be bikini model to CHUBBY up!  DOCTORS’ ORDERS!  Did you know that this flaca has survived 6 brain aneurysms?  SHE FIGHTS like a real woman– WATCH OUT!  Help us to show "the gremlin" what a real fight is all about.



HER DIAGNOSIS:

Stage 3a Non-Small Cell Adenocarcinoma, surgical candidate.
Update: Stage 4 and not a surgical candidate but absolutely ready for anything!

 THE DETAILS:

We have set up two savings accounts for our distinct financial challenges:
1) Medical Expenses
2) Miscellaneous Costs: includes additional expenses related to defeating cancer, such as paying for organic super foods and filling the tank to drive an hour away for treatment.
