Journey to London Hult Prize Global Accelerator

Agriculture Growth Network is an award-winning (Hult Prize Ghana Regional Award) social Enterprise comprising of three students (Kellyson Siamunjo, Daniella Uwase and Peter Ndahiro) from the African Leadership University passionate about agriculture. The enterprise comes to assist small and medium scale farmers access good agriculture skills and profitable markets while creating jobs for the African youth. This is done by training unemployed youths in best agricultural practices and agribusiness, and linking them up with small and medium scale farmers to act as “Agromonitors”. Their Vision is to create over 10, 000 jobs for the unemployed youths and impact the lives of over 15,000 small and medium scale farmers in Africa by 2029. After recently participating in the Hult Prize regional competition (Ghana) where they emerged as the overall winner, they qualified for the London Global finals scheduled for 12 July 2019 where they will be competing for $1,000,000 after a 5 week accelerator programme. To this end, they wish to ask for your financial assistance in order to cater for their travelling expenses, for this noble cause.
