One day at a time living with COPD

Donation protected
I started getting winded and tired when I walked short distances, and within a year I was diagnosed with COPD. Now,  almost 6 years later, I have been forced to retire, am on Social Security Disability, can only walk short distances; take 4 medications including nebulizer and inhaler daily and am on oxygen 24/7.  All of which just keep my disease in check. I have been cigarette free for 2 years now. I have been told my only chance for a longer life is a lung transplant or successful stem cell treatment. So, as of Jan 2019 i have completed a full course of stem cell treatments. Though the results are not as life changing as i had hoped, i am still alive and hopeful of the long term affects the treatments will give me. All i have to do is stay active, eat protein packed meals and don't get sick. I have to have help in do that, and have a home aid who comes to my apt daily and tends to my medical needs, cooks, cleans, runs any errands and makes my life liveable. Home aid service is not covered by my insurance. I need help in paying for this service. I am charged $18.00 an hour and am able to get my needs met for one hour a day. Can you help me? In the interum i am working on getting stronger and not have to use a home aid everyday and become more self reliant.
