Dear Friends and Family,
My awesome boy, Hoss (CH Chancellors Hoss Cart Ride), has been diagnosed with Digital Melanoma. The cancer started in the nail bed of the "pinkie" toe of his left front foot. Digital Melanoma is very aggressive. Amputation of the toe was successful and good margins were achieved. Unfortunately, Hoss had a relapse and a tumor has been diagnosed in the left prescapular region (left front of his chest). Our goal at the present time is to shrink the tumor and with good results we can then proceed with the Canine Melanoma Vaccine protocol.
Good results have been documented using this vaccine, even in dogs that already have Melanoma.
Many of y'all know that I lost my boy, Norton (Just Ask Norton) to lymphoma a few short years ago. We fought that battle, long and hard! Just like Norton, Hoss still has alot of things on his "Bucket List" to do. Following in Norton's "pawprints" Hoss is my new Therapy Dog. He still has his TDI testing coming up and he still has to learn to pull a cart!!!
At this time Hoss is looking good and feeling great! He doesn't know he is sick.
As we all know, treatment of any cancer is quite costly. Hoss and I will accept any and all donations with Heart-Felt Appreciation and will be Eternally
