Robert Lawton

Mr. Robert Lawton is a military veteran, who served in the U. S. Army.  He is 85 years old and will be 86 in July.  On Friday, April 15, Mr. Lawton was forcefully evicted from his home of over 30 years.  Mr. Lawton had signed a reverse mortgage and he expected to live in that home he had shared with his wife, until her passing in 2013, for the rest of his life.  He was devasted when the Sheriff knocked on his door and told him he was being evicted.  All his belonging were sat out in his front yard, with him having no understanding of why this had happened to him.  Today, most of his items have been picked over and taken and he still cannot understand why he can't live in his home.  Mr. Lawton needs a place live, he needs furnishings, and just the every day necessities for living. Funds are needed immediately so that he can secure a place to live.  Mr. Lawton is a senior citizen and he deserves to be treated with respect and dignity for all that he has done in this community and this country.  I will be forever grateful for your assistance in helping me show Mr. Lawton the many hearts  of love and compassion in the DMV.
