The Better Me Project was created to empower and inspire women across the nation.
After escaping homelessness in Georgia with myself and my 3 small children I have wanted to find a way to give back. I have realized that it is one thing to see it and want to give back and its a completely different ball game to actually experience it and know that we NEED to help. Most people that are experiencing hardship have no one, or have exhausted all options.
Imagine feeling lost, helpless and hopeless and having no where to go and feeling ashamed that you have found yourself in this situation? Imagine being unable to eat, being unable to shower. Imagine having to beg and in some cases even steal to make sure that you and your children have what you need to survive? Imagine YOU coming and providing options, giving a helping hand and above all showing love to someone that hasn't felt loved?
We can do it!
It saddens me to see so many people on the streets and so many passer byers that can help but simply WON'T. We have to do better!
It saddens me to see children die because the person that was responsible to take care of them could not and saw no other way out to take not only take there lives but there children's as well. Let's stop sitting on the sidelines and GET UP! HELP!

From self care kits, to assistance with food, shelter,clothing or transportation.
It takes a village and we are in desperate need of the village to show our communities that they are not alone and no matter how big or small someone genuinely cares.
