Photographers for Ukraine

Photographers Anastasiia Zazuliak (Ukraine) and Patrick Patterson (New Hampshire) had never met in person before they decided to meet at the Ukraine-Poland border. In March, they brought their cameras and spent a week together documenting the thousands of displaced people crossing the border to seek refuge from the war in Ukraine.

Anastasiia and Patrick will return in mid-June, spending their time in communities like Lviv, Kyiv and Ternopil that have been directly affected by the war. The arts continue to be an essential tool in telling the stories of those impacted by this humanitarian crisis. These artists are self-sustained and are not with a supporting financial organization. To help offset working and travel expenses, we have set up this GoFund Me on their behalf in hopes that you will help contribute to their cause of bringing these stories out of Ukraine for the rest of the world to see.

Their photography from their March visit is now on display at 3S Artspace in Portsmouth. The Seacoast community will have an opportunity to hear their experiences on Friday, May 27th at 7:00 pm in the Main Gallery.
