The Bonner Family Health Care Fund

For those of you who may not know me, my name is Heidi and I have set up this page because my family is in need of help. My husband Rich and I have been married for just under 11 years now and we have two beautiful children. For the most part, things have been good but about a year and a half ago, Rich was diagnosed with a non-cancerous brain tumor. He was receiving medical treatment for his condition which included seeing a specialist, different medications and having an MRI every 3-6 months to monitor the tumor. The treatment was working great and just about all of the symptoms he had from the tumor went away. Well, about 6 months ago, Rich got laid off from his job and with it went his medical insurance. He did get another job within a month or so but with no medical benefits. He continues to look for work everyday but has found nothing yet. He has been off all of his medications since he lost his job and his doctors won\'t see him because of our inability to pay. At this point, all of his symptoms have come back along with some new ones. He has developed diabetes, has constant headaches, his vision is getting worse due to the pressure of the tumor and he is losing feeling in his arms and legs. Rich goes to work everyday and never complains about what\'s going on with him. All he wants to do is provide for his family.

We have contacted numerous drug companies, local and federal organizations and doctors and none have been able to help. Right now, we are trying to get Rich health insurance that will cover all his doctors and medications but we are unable to pay the premium. This is why we are reaching out to you.
