The Goodest Girl with the Baddest Leg

Cleopatra Bear Reese Gueck is a Golden Retriever and Black Lab mix that NEEDS your help to get SURGERY!

The incident:

Cleo was at the park chasing a frisbee and running full speed. She overshot and when she realized it, she stopped very quickly and turned at the same time to run back toward where the frisbee was. Cleo blew out her right rear knee. She tore the tendons between the kneecap and the tibia.

The Treatment:
She was taken to the vet and because of the intense swelling, they were unable to determine the severity of her injury. After two weeks of painkillers, lots of rest, and barely being able to walk, Cleo went to the vet again. We were told that she will need surgery that will cost $5,000 to completely fix her knee.

We need your help:
We cannot afford this surgery.  If we can't raise enough money for the surgery she will be crippled for the rest of her life.

More about Cleo:
Cleo is loved very much by her family. She has quirks like moaning when she gets excited, knocking at the door when she wants out and catching toys with her paws. She LOVES ice, carrot or potato skin - so much that she will come running when she hears it from the other room - and her white tiger that she for some reason cuddles with and doesn't chew. She loves going on adventures whether that running through the snow, swimming in lakes, hiking in the mountains, or even sleeping in recycling bins (that's where her middle name comes from). Shes had an exciting life but is still very young and is looking forward to more mountains to climb, lakes to swim through, and frisbees to catch.

Help Cleo Keep Living Her Happy Life:
Anything that you can give will help Cleo get back to the life she loves. I can't imagine a world where I come visit home from college and Cleo isn't the first one to run up to me, wagging her tail and making her signature moaning sound to welcome me home. Cleo brings a lot of joy to our family and many others as well. She is a beautiful happy doggo and I would greatly appreciate anything you can do to help keep her that way.

Can't Donate? Do This:
I completely understand if you don't have the funds to donate. If I didn't know what that's like I wouldn't be making this campaign. But here's what you CAN do for completely FREE. Share this everywhere you can. Post in on Instagram, facebook, youtube, Snapchat, Twitter, and any other social media platforms. We want Cleo to touch as many lives as possible, and hopefully, those lives an help her in return. Tell everyone you know so we can get Cleo back to her normal adventurous self!

Thank you!
I appreciate everyone who read this entire story. And I know Cleo does too. I am really really grateful for anything you can do whether that be a generous donation or a share on social media. If you're interested I'm sure Cleo would love to thank you herself. ;)
You can get to know Cleo a little better with more pictures and videos here!  Contact me below if you have any questions at all!

Thank you again, everyone!
