Our car broke down completely out of nowhere and we don't have the money to fix it or get a new car, we need it for work and appointments. I'm afraid if we don't get this fixed or replaced my fiancée will lose her job

We're unsure if getting it fixed or replaced will be cheaper, as it's a hybrid and has given us a ton of issues over the years. It seems to be both a battery and engine issue. I'd love to get us a newer reliable car we wouldn't need to worry about as much, but if that's not possible that's alright

We have cats and a toddler, and are currently having to order our groceries and anything we need which costs more, we've also had to reschedule all our doctors appointments and can't refill our medications easily
