After lunch, we took a short drive through my paternal grandparent’s old neighborhood and continued our conversation. At one point, I saw a man panhandling on the side of the road. He was using a cardboard sign. I commented, saying something to the effect that I did not like people on the side of the road asking for money. This was the point when Penny taught me a lesson by the Spirit. Her comments cut me to the core and I will never, ever forget the lesson. Penny said “Everyone begs for something. That man is only begging for a few dollars. I begged for my son’s life!” What a life lesson! I think about it almost every day.
Now, here I am in a horrible financial situation. I, too, went on a street corner. I did not gain much in financial help, but learned some things about myself. I am a beggar in my Father’s kingdom. I am not above asking for help. I need friends and family to support and help me through life. No one can live this life alone, without help.
Friends, please help me, if you are able. I am in jeopardy of LOSING MY HOME and I HAVE A MOUNTAIN OF MEDICAL and other bills. I need your help. Feel free to reach out and ask questions. I will be totally open about mistakes and bad choices I have made. Thanks to those of you who have helped. Please, do not feel you need to help again. I love you!
