Fix Handicap Van in Ellen's Memory

Donation protected
My name is Grace Rice, and with a very sad heart I write this. My mom Ellen Dunston passed on December 31st, 2017 at 9 o'clock PM. She was the most loving person you could meet and always had a way to care for everyone she met. Before her medical accident 13 years ago, she was the Department Lead for Loudoun County Public School Transportation for the Handicap Department. She loved her job and the kids she drove for. For the last 10 months she has been living at the Shenandoah Center here in Charles Town, West Virginia. She absolutely loved to go on all the outings that the center took (to Walmart and the Casino for the Epic Buffet.)However, sometimes she was unable to go due to the big handicap van that the center owns is broken down. She was very artistic and was always trying to mass crochet something so she could sell whatever she made to fix this van. But my mom had such a big heart and would always give the things she made away to the Certified Nursing Assistants and Nurses at the center. I mean who could blame them everything she made was beautiful. My hope in making this page is that everyone that knew my mom can come together and donate to fix this bus in her memory, so NO ONE has to stay back and everyone that wants to go on the outings can go.  We would like to see this page be shared far and wide because we know that Ellen touched many hearts. She was always talking about getting this van fixed and I think now is the best time to do it. My mom will be extremely missed. Now lets come together and get this van fixed for her.
