Help Gracie Fix Her Eyes

Friends and family, far and wide!

As some of you may know, our dear Gracie has suffered from vision impairment due to severe astigmatism for much of her life. It has recently come to light that her impairment is curable through modern science using LASER TECHNOLOGY! So cool right!?

Because Gracie's specific condition can't be treated with the cheaper 'Lasik' operation she requires a more invasive and expensive 'PRK' surgery. Since Medi-Cal won't cover this procedure she will need to come up with $6000 out of pocket to finally correct her vision.

The operation has been scheduled for November 2nd… which is only two months away!

Unfortunately, the company that Gracie was working for shuttered, and since then, things have been challenging financially. Despite Grace’s best efforts, it's not likely that she will be able to come up with the funds needed in time for her operation.

If you know Gracie (and for your sake, I hope you do!), you know how profoundly kind and generous of a person she is. She prioritizes the needs and support of her friends and loved ones above all else. And now Gracie needs our help.

So, this fundraiser aims to pull together the funds needed for Gracie's operation as well as to support her living costs for ten days of recovery time off work.

Also, Grace is turning 31 years old this year, and her wish is to fix her eyes well enough to go horseback riding by her birthday on November 15th! So, if there was ever a time you hoped to buy Gracie a birthday drink but realized she doesn't drink alcohol, think of paying back that moment here!
